About My Texas Gift
“My Texas Gift” is a long-time dream come true. For years, I have wanted to design and market high quality, attractive, and unique gifts from Texas. Making the dream a reality went into full gear after a trip to France in the summer of 2019. With my family, I visited a few towns and markets in the Provence region in southern France. The landscape of Provence is almost identical to that of the Central Texas Hill Country region. I live in Blanco, the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
What made the greatest impression on me while in Provence, aside from the beauty of countryside and villages, was the quality of the design of products offered to visitors. Whether it was food, apparel, or home décor, you could tell someone had taken time to design each piece, making it attractive and unique.
This experience of seeing so many high quality designs in the markets and stores inspired me to accelerate my schedule for designing something attractive and unique for Texans. I am starting with a simple apparel collection called “Texan Certified”, dedicated to all ages and genders.
As I write these lines, I’m already working on a new number of ideas that I will include in the store soon.
